Eyesight standards for drivers in the United Kingdom briefing note

If you wish to drive in the UK, you must meet certain standards such as theory and driving test, which we all know. A lesser known standard is that for eyesight.

In the UK we have two standards, one for Group 1 entitlements (cars and motorcycles) and one for Group 2 entitlements (HGVs and buses). Logistics UK has produced a briefing note that details the current standards a driver must meet to be able to drive a vehicle in the UK.

The briefing note can be downloaded here.
