Labour Policy Forum – National Policy Forum Consultation 2023 

The NPF consultation is a really important opportunity for Labour to hear from its members, supporters and stakeholders on how a future Labour government can create a fairer, greener and more dynamic Britain for all. Released 31/01/2023 – closes 17/03/2023. 

DfT – Changes to the date of the first MOT test and research into other MOT enhancements 

Seeks views on whether we should change the timeframe for the first date a vehicle should be MOT tested and evidence and views on other changes to MOT testing. Released 18/01/2023 – closes 28/02/2023. 

Transport Select Committee – Our future transport 

The Transport Committee wants to hear your proposals on what it should investigate for its next in-depth inquiry. The Committee wants to work with people or organisations that know which innovations deserve attention, and what the impact of new and disruptive trends and technologies might be across all modes of transport in the future. Released 17/01/2023 – closes 06/02/2023. 

Scottish Government – Draft Energy Strategy and Just Transition Plan consultation 

The draft Energy Strategy and Just Transition Plan sets a vision for Scotland's energy system to 2045 and a route map of ambitions and actions that, coupled with detailed sectoral plans and the forthcoming Climate Change Plan, will guide decision-making and policy support over the course of this decade. Released 10/01/2023 – closes 04/04/2023.

Marine Scotland Directorate is in the initial stages of developing a new National Marine Plan (NMP2) that will aim to address current challenges facing the marine sector. Released 06/10/2022 – closed 31/01/2023.

After consulting with a range of industry leaders, Transport Scotland has brought together a Zero Emission Truck Taskforce (ZETT) comprising leaders across road haulage and logistics operators, manufacturing, energy, and finance sectors. Released 24/11/2023 – closed 16/01/2023.
