Nina will be discussing risk management in transport and what lessons can be learnt from workplace and road accidents.

This panel session with feature leading industry suppliers who will cover a variety of topics that are relevant to van operators and provide expert guidance, the topics covered will be:


Environment – Reducing emissions, introducing an Electric Vehicle fleet, regulations to make electric vehicles heard, charging points and infrastructure.


Total Cost of Ownership – Investing in extra things like racking to secure the load and telematics to monitor driver behaviour will add to your initial outlay.


Safety – Cameras and sensors to assist the driver, load security to ensure the vehicle is secure and driver behaviour will ensure a safe working environment.

Session four: Van Security 

Recent statistics about van thefts confirm operators experience that instances of this crime is rising. Vans are the workhorse of the logistics industry and an essential asset for logistics operations. Delegates will hear from TVL on what operators can do to minimise the risk of van theft and the National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service, a centralised speciality police capability dedicated to developing and promoting crime prevention tactics and advice for relevant sectors to help reduce the impact on their businesses.
