Paul Kirby

Director, EV Essentials

Paul has over 30 years of automotive experience including working for an LCV Manufacturer, managing a fleet operation and senior leasing roles focused on Commercial vehicles. Having first driven an Electric Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van in 2004, his passion for the electrification of the Van sector is widely recognised. He now runs his own Consultancy, Media and Training business EV Essentials Ltd, and is also a founder member of The EV Café webinar team. Recognised by GreenFleet Magazine as being in the Top 100 most influential people, his main aim is to help fleets get started on the transition to an electric/zero emission fleet.

Paul has over 30 years of automotive experience focused primarily on the Commercial Vehicle Sector. As an industry commentator, his main aim is to help fleets, of all shapes and sizes, get started on the transition to an electric/zero emission commercial vehicle fleet.

John Curtis

Director of Operations, EV Cafe

John is one of those people difficult to put in a box. An expert in sustainability with a passion for low emission transport, John is a lawyer, marketeer and event host, an unusual combination to say the least.

He is the Director of Operations for the highly successful media and PR organisation the EV Café, who champion green transport. Previously, he was a motoring journalist, and also Head of Sustainable Transport for the Scottish Government responsible for the installation and operation of the national network of electric vehicle chargers and electric vehicle fleet.

John was one of the front men for last years GB EV Rally and hosts the annual and national green transport awards, the GreenFleet Awards. John has also hosted at Countryfile Live and Grand Designs Live talking about clean, green vehicles.

Kevin Green

Marketing and Communications Director, Logistics UK

Kevin Green is the Marketing & Communications Director for Logistics UK – one of the biggest business groups in the UK: supporting, shaping and standing up for safe and efficient Logistics. Kevin has worked in Communications leadership roles for a number of large corporates including Capita, Logica, Mitie, Balfour Beatty, KPMG and PwC.

Project highlights include working on the sale and implementation for major Public Private Partnerships, including; Congestion Charging in London, The Criminal Records Bureau and HS2, delivering The Skills Show for 100,000 young people, and developing the Future Logistics conference at ITT!
