Transport Manager Survey 2021
Logistics UK’s Transport Manager Survey has returned for 2021 following a break last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey and report rely on the continued commitment of Logistics UK transport manager members who want to highlight the issues that affect the road haulage industry. Their contribution is key to improving standards, highlighting key topics of interest and concern for the industry and identifying solutions to challenges such as workforce recruitment and operational management.
This year there were just under 400 responses. The survey was conducted in June and July 2021 and the high number of participants provides a comprehensive overview of transport managers’ assessment of the role they play in UK logistics and the state of the industry. This survey covers a variety of issues affecting transport managers from age, salary, operation type and core responsibilities to driver recruitment, driver wellbeing, Low Traffic Neighbourhoods, Low Emission Zone regulation, braketesting, and enforcement and compliance.
