- CEO Ben Fletcher and Head of Trade James Mills met Parliamentary Secretary in the Cabinet Office Chris Ward to discuss Logistics UK’s priority asks on trade, including progressing the SPS agreement with the EU, improving other aspects of the Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA), reducing the impact of the Windsor Framework on GB-NI trade flows, and reducing border friction caused by the full implementation of EES.Senior Policy Manager Alexandra Herdman hosted a visit at The Malcolm Group with Johanna Baxter MP.
Head of Skills Policy and Generation Logistics Bethany Windsor attended the Association of Employers and Learning Providers’ (AELP) day with the department’ conference with the Department for Education, Department for Work and Pensions and Skills England where the challenges logistics is facing were raised. - Head of Decarbonisation Lamech Solomon and Deputy Director of Policy Michelle Gardner both spoke on a panel at the Optimal Charge event, covering the need for shared charging infrastructure and high energy costs.
