MAN TGE Next Level crowned ‘Sustainable Van of the Year 2026’

The MAN TGE Next Level van has been awarded ‘Sustainable Van of the Year’ by an Italian publishing house, Vado e Torno Edizioni, based in Milan.

The judges ruled that sustainability in the light commercial van segment should not only be measured against the drive technology but also by the protection of people, improvement of working conditions behind the wheel and the positive effects on the urban environment.

For this reason, the MAN TGE Next Level van has been awarded this recognition, with special mention of its comfort, ergonomics, functionality and safety as elements that all support enhanced operational efficiency, vehicle performance and working quality for drivers.

The van has undergone extensive technical revisions, with the entire electronic architecture being renewed and the integration of control units, sensors and cameras. It enables new and improved assistance systems including blind spot warning, drive off warning and cruise assist, and enhanced safety for all road users.

The driver’s workstation includes a digital instrument cluster, the central MAN Media Van touch display and an ergonomic multi-function steering wheel.

In their comments, the judges said: “Particularly noteworthy is the range of next‑generation assistance systems, which make a concrete contribution to reducing accident risks, increasing comfort and improving the wellbeing of drivers and passengers – with clear and tangible benefits in terms of performance optimisation and vehicle efficiency.”
