Generation Logistics enters fourth year with new supporters
Now in its fourth year, Generation Logistics is proud to sign up new supporters for a campaign that aims to get young people into logistics roles.
Some of the organisations that have signed up to sponsor the Generation Logistics campaign this year include DHL Supply Chain, the Association of Pallet Networks (APN) and Maersk.
The initiative, now in its fourth year, aims to educate people aged 13 to 24 about the value of pursuing a career in logistics, by spreading awareness and communicating its benefits through targeted engagement.
Other organisations that have signed up as well to support Generation Logistics include British Ports Association, SEGRO and the Ministry of Defence. They join pre-existing supporters including GXO and Asda.
In a three-year period, Generation Logistics reached over eight million social engagements and was responsible for a 37% increase in sector awareness and a 212% increase in positive sentiment.
Bethany Windsor, Head of Skills Policy at Logistics UK said: “The latest wave of sponsors for the campaign’s fourth year all being household names is a wonderful testament to the dedication of the sector, as well as the impact of Generation Logistics to date.
“Sponsor support plays such a crucial role in the success and lifespan of Generation Logistics, as we work towards raising a much greater awareness of the sector as a valuable career path in 2026.
“There is still time to enrol as sponsors for the next 12 months and help futureproof the sector, so we are continuing to urge any businesses, great and small, to showcase their support and encourage the next generation of talent in logistics.”
