BCA reports continued strong performance of LCV sales

Over 2,700 unique buyers purchased LCVs from BCA in October, and competitive bidding drove up sold volumes past the 9,700 mark. This is the highest monthly figure since March 2025. 

There has been a continued strong performance of LCV sales this year with the average used LCV value rising to £8,049. 

The SMMT’s report of a slump in new sales in the commercial van market make used LCVs an attractive prospect, the BCA said, particularly in terms of choice and value. 

Stuart Pearson, COO of BCA UK, said: “Buyer engagement has reached new record levels and as we move into the peak season for the home delivery sector, there is every expectation that demand for used LCVs will remain robust and competition should ensure pricing stability between now and the end of the year.” 

While October values were £8,325, September recorded £8,460, August £7,892 and £7,817 in July.
