To help shape effective and lasting solutions, Logistics UK invites you to a Driver Facilities Roundtable at the Scottish Parliament, chaired by Sue Webber MSP, Shadow Cabinet Secretary for Transport. The event will take place on Wednesday 10th September from 10:00 to 11:30 at the Scottish Parliament.

This important roundtable will bring together MSPs, transport officials, and logistics leaders to address the challenges facing drivers and the wider freight network.

Discussions will explore the need for a national strategic review of lorry parking and driver amenities, the integration of truck stop provision into local and regional development plans, the development of a freight crime code to improve data and enforcement, and the importance of ensuring that major infrastructure projects include quality HGV facilities.
