Logistics businesses invited to act as test beds for new innovations

The Connected Places Catapult runs the DfT-funded Freight Innovation Fund (FIF). As part of this, the FIF Accelerator sees logistics businesses act as test beds for innovations produced by cutting-edge SMEs, enabling the development of new solutions for the benefit of the logistics sector.

These trials are fully funded by the programme, with logistics business providing a test bed as a benefit in kind, and each successful SME receiving up to £150,000.

The Connected Places Catapult is now developing Cohort 4 of the FIF Accelerator and is hosting a webinar for potential partner logistics businesses on 4 February, 11am to 12pm.

Being an FIF Accelerator partner means:

•          Engaging with innovative, market-disrupting technologies.
