Interstar receives award from What Van?

The Nissan Interstar won the ‘Large Van of the Year’ category at the annual What Van? awards, receiving mention for its practicality, refinement and comfort.

The Interstar, launched in the UK in 2024, is the largest of the three light commercial vehicles (LCV) Nissan offers, with a five-star EuroNCAP safety rating.

It is also the first large van available with a 100% electric powertrain that delivers a range of up to 285 miles. The diesel version has an all-new nine-speed automatic gearbox or six-speed manual.

With a choice of three heights, three lengths and maximum payloads of up to 1.6 tonnes for the electric version and 1.9 tonnes for the diesel, it can carry up to 14.8 cubic metres of cargo, suiting most businesses.

The What Van? Awards are prestigious independent accolades in the UK’s light commercial vehicle industry, assembling a panel of experienced judges across the sector to evaluate the entries, with the awards handed out at an event in London.
