Back for 2021 and in its seventh year, the search is on for the country’s best van drivers with the launch of this year’s Van Driver of the Year competition.

Deadline extended until the 11 June. Now with no entry fee!

This challenging contest is aimed at recognising and celebrating the very best drivers from the very best van operators. A presentation of the trophy and prizes will be made at the end of the day to the overall Van Driver of the Year, the second and third place contestants.

Entries have been extended and will now close on Friday 11 June 2021 so companies are advised to waste no time in entering their outstanding drivers.

The competition will be run in accordance with the latest government COVID-19 guidelines, adhering to any measures required to be in place at the time of the event. Should restrictions not allow them to run as face to face events, we will postpone to later date.

To enter the competition, simply complete an entry form. To determine finalists, entrants will then be given an online risk assessment which will count towards their final score.

I’m thrilled to be named as the best van driver in the UK. I love my role as a driver, and I have always taken it very seriously; to be recognised for my dedication, hard work, and constant thirst for improvement over the years is overwhelming. I would like to thank my fellow drivers at ASDA whose own brilliance pushes me to be the best I can. I would also like to thank Van Excellence for providing me with this opportunity to showcase everything I have learnt throughout my driving career.
