Terms of Reference
The Employment and Skills Working Group is comprised of individuals with direct responsibility for employment, workforce planning, and skills development within their organisations across the logistics sector.

The Group’s remit will be to:

• Inform and direct Logistics UK’s position in responding to, and influencing, employment and skills policies proposed or taken forward by local, devolved and UK government.
• Shape Logistics UK’s efforts to inform and educate elected representatives and policy makers about the workforce challenges and skills needs of the logistics sector, including priority shortage occupations such as HGV drivers.
• Create a forum for the presentation, understanding and discussion of employment, skills and workforce-related issues that are relevant to the logistics sector.

The Group will operate in accordance with Logistics UK’s Rules on the Conduct of meetings and meets ad hoc, as needed.
