RTX is back!

Sponsored content

Award-winning Road Transport Expo (RTX) is back this summer and a diary must-attend for anybody involved in the road haulage sector.

Taking place from 4-6 June at NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire, the bumper tradeshow with its ‘all about the truck’ motto creates the perfect meeting place to connect with industry colleagues and make essential new business contacts.

Now in its third year, RTX will feature more than 230 exhibitors, including all eight major truck OEMs - DAF, Iveco, Isuzu, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Renault Trucks, Scania and Volvo. Other HGV and van manufacturers include exciting brands such as Ford, Maxus, HVS and Sany eTrucks, alongside leading names when it comes to trailers, tankers, skip-loaders, tippers, materials handling and specialist vehicle bodies.

You’ll also be able to find everything else you need to maintain your fleet - from the smallest consumables through to tyres, safety equipment and workshop tools – with live technology demonstrations taking place throughout the day.

To make the most of your day at RTX, why not take a browse on roadtransportexpo.co.uk to help you decide which stands you’d like to put on your ‘must visit’ list. Last year’s show visitors were delighted with the wide range of exhibitors taking part in RTX, with 98% rating the quality and quantity of stands to explore as ‘excellent/good’ and a whopping 96% saying they would most likely visit the show again this year.

“If you haven’t yet visited the show, we are sure you’ll be impressed by the sheer scale of this year’s event as there is so much to see and do,” said Vic Bunby, Divisional Director at show organiser Road Transport Media.

“But what’s also fantastic about RTX is the lively, sociable atmosphere throughout, with exhibitors pulling out all the stops to engage with visitors and plenty of great places to relax, grab a bite to eat and catch up with colleagues.”

If you have attended before, then we would love to see you back at NAEC Stoneleigh this June, and if you are new to RTX then please do come and along and join the buzz. It’s completely free to attend, simply register for your free place at roadtransportexpo.co.uk

Ride & Drive

If you hold a valid HGV licence and fancy getting behind the wheel of one of the latest diesel or alternatively-fuelled trucks, then RTX is the show for you. We will, once again, be creating a dedicated route for visitors to try out vehicles on the day of their visit.

Register your interest online when booking your show ticket and we will keep you up to date on how to take part. And it’s no problem if you don’t want to drive yourself, there will also be a team of professional drivers on hand to take visitors out for a spin to experience the driving experience from the comfort of the passenger seat.

In the know!

If you are responsible for the safe and compliant management of an HGV fleet, then the Road Transport Expo (RTX) Knowledge Zone conference will be a must-attend event for you. Taking place across all three days of the free-to-attend summer tradeshow, the Knowledge Zone will bring together road transport experts to explore essential topics such as truck safety and technology; fleet decarbonisation; vehicle development; industry trials and much more.

Logistics UK will be hosting an impactful session dedicated to ‘Safety and Security in Road Transport’ on the afternoon of day one, focusing on cargo theft intelligence and trends; load security; cyber crime; and road-incident prevention.

“We have developed a conference programme that will provide insightful expertise on the challenges and opportunities facing today’s fleet operators,” said Hayley Tayler, Events and Projects Editor at MT publisher Road Transport Media.

“It’s ideal for fleet managers or senior decision-makers wanting to keep abreast of industry hot topics, so we would love for you to join us this summer.”

The Knowledge Zone is located at the heart of the venue, with an easy-access layout enabling you to drop in and out of those sessions relevant to you whilst exploring the rest of the show. Take a look at roadtransportexpo.co.uk to check out which speakers you’d like to include on your itinerary when visiting the show.

Don’t just take our word for it, here’s what you had to say after last year’s event!

“It’s been really good this year – it is well laid out and it’s easy to find things. In particular, I like the Ride & Drive as this enables me to trial different vehicles and see what performance you get out of each model that’s here. I’ve really enjoyed it.” Mark Brook, driver trainer, Southern

“Road Transport Expo has very much become THE show for the road transport industry and Volvo Trucks is very much looking forward to exhibiting in 2024.” Martin Tomlinson, head of media and truck demonstrations, Volvo Trucks UK & Ireland.

“Considering this is the second time this event’s been held, it has been absolutely incredible. The number of visitors we’ve had on our stand has been truly staggering. We anticipated after last year that the event would be good, but it completely surpassed our expectations.” Pete Murphy, MD, Isuzu Truck UK
