It is vital for anyone responsible for fleet maintenance to keep up to date with developments in rapidly evolving vehicle technology and Logistics UK’s popular Fleet Engineer conference, which is returning to the British Motor Museum in Warwickshire on 22 June 2023, will provide all the latest information.

Sponsored by Gray & Adams, the one-day conference will include expert insight from manufacturers, industry leaders and government, and will include sessions by Traffic Commissioner Kevin Rooney, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

Phil Lloyd, Logistics UK’s Head of Engineering Policy – who will be chairing the conference – comments: “Keeping up to date with developments in modern vehicle technology is becoming increasingly challenging for commercial vehicle engineers – and there is more to come as technology continues to advance at a rapid rate.  Logistics UK’s Fleet Engineer conference is designed to provide operators, and their maintenance providers, with all the information they need to keep modern fleets compliant, as well as sharing insight into future developments in vehicle design. The event is a must-attend for anyone with responsibility for specifying commercial vehicles, ensuring roadworthiness, compliance and/or maintaining vehicles.”

Sessions will include:

  • Vehicle safety in an autonomous world

  • Maintenance – a Traffic Commissioner’s view

  • Developments in brakes, steering and suspension aligned to ADAS and autonomy

  • The art of braking

  • Maintaining in-service standards

  • Maintaining traction

  • Who's accountable when it all goes wrong?

  • Maintaining compliance – DVSA view

The event is also sponsored by the AA and Brigade Electronics. To book your place, priced at £290 + VAT for Logistics UK members and £330 + VAT for non-members, please visit https://logistics.org.uk/fleet-engineer
