Logistics UK comments on funding for self-driving services

Following government’s announcement made today (23 May 2022) regarding funding for self-driving services, Michelle Gardner, Acting Deputy Director – Public Policy at Logistics UK, comments:

“The £40 million government competition will help accelerate emerging technologies and with possible self-driving vehicles including those that move containers at shipping ports, as well as delivery vehicles, this is a welcome step forward.
