This call for evidence aimed to gather information and evidence that the HSE will use to:

DBT – The Seventh Carbon Budget Call for Evidence

The Climate Change Committee (CCC) is required under the Climate Change Act 2008 to provide advice on the level of the UK’s carbon budgets. Carbon budgets set a cap on the total greenhouse gas emissions the UK can emit over a five-year period and are a key mechanism for ensuring progress towards net zero.  Opened 20/10/2025 – closed 04/11/2025.

 

UK Parliament – The Seventh Carbon Budget – Committees – UK Parliament

This Environmental Audit Committee inquiry examined the Climate Change Committee’s advice on the Seventh Carbon Budget. The inquiry also looked at how the Government should communicate choices and trade-offs, and how Parliament and the public can best scrutinise delivery plans and progress. DVSA – Changes to HGV, bus and trailer MOT centre service charges

07/11/2025 – DVLA – DVLA modernises diabetes rules for bus and lorry drivers – GOV.UK

Under the changes, drivers will be able to use glucose monitoring technology, such as Continuous Glucose Monitoring Systems (CGMS), instead of using finger-prick tests.
