Join us for a deep dive into Great Britain’s freight sector – looking at how the current economic climate has shaped logistics activity across GB over the past quarter and discussing what this means for the future.

Hosted by Mariefi Kamizouli, Head of Economics & Productivity at Logistics UK and Mike Garratt, Chaiman, MDS Transmodal, the webinar will be an opportunity to analyse how policy decisions and macroeconomic factors are impacting logistics, including trading patterns, decarbonisation progress and volumes and values of goods moved by road, rail, air and water.

We will also be joined by Nichola Mallon, Head of Trade and Devolved Policy at Logistics UK, who will also share invaluable insight and expertise on how legislative changes are impacting trading conditions.

Covering all modes across logistics, some of the topics that will be discussed include:

  • UK container trade in a global context.
  • Imports and exports volumes and values.
  • Changes in flows of HGVs and rail freight trains.
  • Greenhouse gas emissions.

This session will provide detailed and insightful commentary around what is happening across UK logistics and presents an opportunity to discuss how the sector is responding to continued unprecedented challenges.
