Join us for our second deep dive of the year into the freight sector.

Set against the backdrop of global geopolitical volatility, a general election as well as changing climate, this webinar will be an opportunity to discuss how the current economic, political and environmental landscape has shaped logistics activity over the past quarter.

With subject experts from Logistics UK’s Policy team and MDS Transmodal, the webinar will begin by focusing on business performance and horizon scanning as well as highlights from the Logistics Report 2024. Discussion on future challenges will cover border control changes, decarbonisation and infrastructure. The second half of the session will be an opportunity to look beyond UK borders and assess UK trade in a global context. Speakers will describe changes to UK imports and export volumes as well as changes in freight flows. 

Covering all modes of logistics, the session will provide insightful commentary on how the sector is navigating 2024 so far whilst also thinking ahead about upcoming challenges and how to address them.
