Logistics UK submission to Integrated National Transport Strategy call for ideas

The logistics sector’s top priorities for the Integrated National Transport Strategy:
1. Produce a co-created logistics roadmap to net zero that includes measures to maximise the use of low carbon fuels across all logistics modes. This will accelerate emissions reduction while essential energy infrastructure upgrades are delivered.
2. Modernise logistics vehicle regulations, from road to drones, to enable the movement of goods in the most productive, strategic and green way.
3. Support city regions to deliver efficient urban logistics to drive growth, opportunity, decarbonisation and innovation. This includes providing local and combined authorities with a clear national framework, establishing a centre of excellence to develop new approaches, and creating a pilot city region.
